A message from the President of the Federation of Hellenic-American Societies of New England

Dear Friends,

Christmas is upon us. As we decorate our tree and wrap our presents let us not forget the real reason and spirit of Christmas. Let us open our hearts to our family and friends and let our faith guide us through life.
May the New Year be full of promise, though you may also get a fair share of tough times. In those times, may the year be full of faith and good friends to help you through. In 2011, may you find yourself growing confident, experienced, and wise. Raise a toast to the year that holds many promises.
I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ~Charles Dickens
On behalf of my entire family please accept our warmest wishes for a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year. May 2011 be filled with good health, love, kindness, understanding and good friends.

Thank you for your friendship and support throughout the year.
Eleni Vidalis
