ANΑΚΟΙΝΩΣΗ - ΟΜΟΣΠΟΝΔΙΑΣ ΕΛΛΗΝΟ-ΑΜΕΡΙΚΑΝΙΚΩΝ ΣΩΜΑΤΕΙΩΝ ΒΟΣΤΩΝΗΣ

Το λαϊκό προσκύνημα για τον αποθανόντα Δήμαρχο της Βοστώνης Thomas Menino θα γίνει την Κυριακή, 2 Νοεμβρίου στο Faneuil Hall της Βοστώνης (πίσω από το Δημαρχείο). Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της Ομοσπονδίας Ελληνο-Αμερικανικών Σωματείων θα συναντηθεί έξω από το Faneuil Hall στις 1:00μμ για να προσκυνήσει ομαδικά τη σορό του αείμνηστου Φιλέλληνα Thomas Menino.  Παρακαλούνται όσοι άλλοι αξιωματούχοι (νυν και πρώην) ή αντιπρόσωποι Σωματείων-Συλλόγων θέλουν και μπορούν να έρθουν και να συμμετάσχουν την ίδια ώρα, ομαδικά.

Η κηδεία του θα γίνει σε στενό οικογενειακό κύκλο την Δευτέρα το μεσημέρι στην εκκλησία Most Precious Blood Parish in Hyde Park., Boston, Massachusetts.

BOSTON —Funeral arrangements for Boston's longest-serving mayor, Tom Menino, have been announced.  Thomas Menino will lie in state at Faneuil Hall starting at 10:00 a.m. Sunday and the event is open to the public.
A funeral Mass will be held for Menino at noon Monday at the Most Precious Blood Parish in Hyde Park.  The funeral Mass will be a private event.
We ask the Board of Directors, Auditors, Past Presidents, current and past officials of the Federation and Societies or representatives of Societies to meet outside the Faneuil Hall at 1:00pm on Sunday (November 2, 2014) so we may all together pay our respects to a Good Philhellene.
