Tomaras in Piraeus, Greece. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy
Tomaras; brother of Helen Tomaras Astin and the late Mike
Tomaras. Those who knew Mr. Tomaras remember him for his generosity, his
devotion to his friends and family, and his dedication to his work and
philanthropic endeavors. He reached many hearts and cared for many people, and
he left many behind who sincerely loved and cared for him. Please know that your

Mr. Tomaras' passion for giving back to the Greek American
community was always a priority for him. Mr. Tomaras dedicated his life to
increasing educational opportunities for Greek youth, and in 1998, he founded
the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation. The Foundation awards $250,000 in
scholarships annually, and since its founding has awarded $2.3 million to 324
Greek American undergraduates.
We thank you in advance for all of your donations to the
PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation in honor of Mr. Tomaras. We are committed to
carrying on his legacy, and continuing to give back to the Greek American
